THis is what I did since I know nothing about HTML codes.....there are tons of sites that have the code already made up you just copy and paste it and put it in your general info and it works. I got my code from whateverlife.com

Go to the Myspace forums and look under the one titled Myspace. Click on it and then click on the forum that says Customizing. There you will find a slew of topics on how to add graphics, backgrounds, new layouts etc. You don't really need to know much html. You can just copy and paste code and just change what you need to change.

find a layout you like (see below) highlight the code by left clicking and holding the mouse button down and dragging it over the code. Then after it is ALL highlighted you can right click and copy or edit from the menu and copy. Then go to edit my profile (beside your picture on your myspace user page. Choose the specific area for the codes (see below) then right click that area or locate your cursor in the box (ie for the background put your cursor in the about me box) then choose paste, or you can use Edit from the Internet Explorer menu, paste, and then preview the profile and save settings.

For backgrounds and layouts, put the code in ABOUT ME for music and photo's put them in the other sections. You must host your personal photo's with something like imageshack.com or photobucket.com and use the img code to paste put the code in. Suggestions for layouts www.hotfreelayouts.com and for music you can put videos from www.musicjesus.com in your page.
