The fun for me is the playing with the graphics and changing my page, can you do that on Facebook or other sites

nope you can't...and thats what most people like about it...because when someone puts too much graphics on their page you end waiting forever for things to load or sometimes the graphics don't show up how they should...or you end up in a situation where you would like to see the whole page but their is just so much stuff you get board of going through it

No. You cannot do most of the stuff you do on MySpace in Facebook when it comes to customizing your page.

On Facebook, you can post photos. There are lots of "plug ins" too - like rating movies, sharing your taste in music, etc. It will not look like a MySpace page though. It's a cleaner look.

Many people have a Facebook page with a link to their MySpace page.

one of the joys of facebook is that people can't make it seizure-causing like with myspace. (ie pink flashing unicorns)
